Ethel Cofie
Ethel Cofie is a Tech entrepreneur with extensive experience with in a number of countries, including United Kingdom, Ghana, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.
She is also the founder of BarCamp Africa and has worked as a technology consultant analyst for a mobile technology health project in Ghana (as funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation).
Currently, Ethel is a Mandela Fellow for President Obama’s Young African Leaders initiative and was recently featured in CNN for her work with Women in Technology.
She and a number of the Washington fellows are working on an Accelerator for startups launching in multiple African markets.
